- Necessary cookies support sign-in, security, language and your cookie choice.
- Optional first-party analytics is activated only after you accept it.
- You can change your choice at any time.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text values stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can keep a session secure, remember a setting or help produce usage statistics. Vinn.is also uses session storage on the server; the browser session cookie connects your browser to that session.
2. Cookies used by Vinn.is
3. First-party analytics
When you accept optional analytics, Vinn.is may record the visited path, event type, campaign label, referring domain, device category, browser family, language and an approximate country, region or city derived locally from the IP address with GeoLite2 or supplied by trusted network infrastructure. Raw IP addresses are not stored or shown in analytics reports; a one-way hash may be used for security and data quality. Live reporting represents activity within the previous five minutes and does not identify visitors by name.
The analytics described here is operated by Vinn.is as a first-party feature. Vinn.is does not currently place third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before those optional cookies are activated.
4. Give, refuse or withdraw consent
Optional analytics is not activated until you select “Accept all”. Selecting “Necessary only” leaves the core service available without the optional visitor cookie. You can reopen cookie settings from the footer at any time. If you change to necessary cookies only, the optional visitor cookie is removed from your browser and future optional analytics stops. The change does not affect lawful processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in, security controls or saved language settings from working correctly.
